Hazard Identification
Cleaning your desk
Everyone in a workplace shares responsibility for ensuring that their work environment is safe and healthy.
Some hazards pose an immediate danger and others take a longer time to become apparent. But both types of hazards must be fixed.
If you are aware of a hazard in your workplace, you should report it promptly to your supervisor or manager.
Once a hazard has been identified, it can be either eliminated or have controls put in place to prevent someone from being injured
Flooring During the everyday work, it’s easy for our desks to become a cluttered mess of coffee spillages, four-week-old post-it notes, scraps of paper – you name it.
Though keep in mind that these desktop messes don’t just prevent you from working pleasantly and productively, they can also impact how others view you.
Are your office’s workstations looking less than professional – AM Retail Services provides daily, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly commercial cleaning services.
For example, our dedicated team will give your desk (including your unplugged keyboard, mouse, and desk phone) a good clean with an antibacterial cleaning spray.
OH&S Updates
The next quarterly OHS meeting will be held on the 14th November 2022 using Microsoft Teams run by Louie with AM Retail managers and employee representatives. There were no lost time injuries in August 2022 and no environmental incidents and no fines from regulators.
