Sexual Harassment on the job

To discriminate against a person is to deny them rights, benefits, wages, or opportunities because that person belongs to a certain group. Sexual harassment is defined as:

- "Unwelcome sexual advances or requests for sexual favours, or any verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when submission to such conduct is expressed or implied as a condition of employment;

- Submission to or rejection of such conduct, used as a basis for employment decisions;

- When such conduct substantially interferes with a person's work performance”

Basically, sexual harassment is any inappropriate and unwelcome behaviour with a sexual overtone that causes a negative effect on a person's work environment.

In your office you not often pay attention to the ceiling.

OH&S Updates

The next quarterly OHS meeting will be held on the16th of May 2019 at our head office in Melbourne. There were no lost time injuries in February 2019 and no environmental incidents and no fines from regulators.
