Cleaning of Wooden Office Floors
AM Retail Services is committed to the health, safety and welfare of its Team Members, contractors, customers and visitors to every site we service.
AM Retail Services has a low appetite for risk and we take our compliance obligations seriously.
As part of the AM Retail Services team we all share responsibility for safety of the general public, our work mates and ourselves.
Due to a recent decision of the Appeals Court, if you attend a spillage, put the signs in place and find that you have to leave the area before properly cleaning it up… for example, having to fetch extra cloths to mop up excess liquid.
Flooring comes in all sorts of flavours, which means sometimes you might not be an expert in exactly how to take care of it.
AM Retail Services can help with some quick tips.
Wooden floors are built to last for decades and to look stylish at the same time. This means certain attention must be paid to their cleaning and care.
This includes regular sweeping, which avoids scratching caused by large debris is enough for day-to-day cleaning. As well as, weekly mopping, which will help cut down on dust and remove any more stubborn mess which may have accumulated.
However, overtime wooden floors will start to show signs of scratching and fading – particularly in high footfall areas.
OH&S Updates

The meeting also involved thorough analysis of our OH&S manual sections where no changes were made.
